Utagawa Yoshitsuya, a Japanese woodblock artist, was particularly well known for his depictions of great warriors. This short sleeve dress print is all about the legendary Minamoto no Yorimitsu, and his battle against an evil spirit at Mount Oyama. It doesn't get much more epic than that.
